Event Host - Chucktown Activities

Chucktown Activities is an innovative entertainment venue that offers a variety of fun and interactive experiences, including axe throwing, mini golf, basketball Connect 4, and Floor is Lava. We pride ourselves on creating a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere for guests of all ages. We are seeking enthusiastic and energetic individuals to join our team as Event Hosts. Responsibilities:
As an Event Host, your primary goal will be to ensure our guests have an exceptional and safe experience. Your responsibilities will include:

• Event Management:
• Welcome and check in guests, ensuring a friendly and efficient start to their experience.
• Facilitate events, providing clear instructions, rules, and safety guidelines for all activities.
• Manage the flow of activities to keep events running on schedule.
• Guest Engagement:
• Create a fun, upbeat environment by interacting with guests, offering encouragement, and celebrating their achievements.
• Provide tips and guidance to enhance the guest experience.
• Address any questions or concerns promptly and professionally.
• Safety and Maintenance:
• Monitor activities to ensure guest safety at all times.
• Inspect equipment and activity areas regularly for cleanliness and proper functioning.
• Report any issues or damages to the management team promptly.
• Team Collaboration:
• Work closely with other staff members to set up and break down activity areas.
• Assist with preparing for events, including decorating or setting up special features as needed.
• Support the overall team in creating a seamless guest experience.
• Additional Duties:
• Assist in promoting Chucktown Activities through positive interactions with guests and by sharing information about our offerings.
• Be available to help with general venue operations, such as answering phones or restocking supplies.

Qualifications:

• Outgoing, friendly personality with excellent communication skills.
• Strong customer service mindset and the ability to handle groups of varying sizes.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining safety standards.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Previous experience in entertainment, hospitality, or events is a plus but not required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
