Responsibilities:
As an Event Host, your primary goal will be to ensure our guests have an exceptional and safe experience. Your responsibilities will include:
- Event Management:
- Welcome and check in guests, ensuring a friendly and efficient start to their experience.
- Facilitate events, providing clear instructions, rules, and safety guidelines for all activities.
- Manage the flow of activities to keep events running on schedule.
- Guest Engagement:
- Create a fun, upbeat environment by interacting with guests, offering encouragement, and celebrating their achievements.
- Provide tips and guidance to enhance the guest experience.
- Address any questions or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Safety and Maintenance:
- Monitor activities to ensure guest safety at all times.
- Inspect equipment and activity areas regularly for cleanliness and proper functioning.
- Report any issues or damages to the management team promptly.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with other staff members to set up and break down activity areas.
- Assist with preparing for events, including decorating or setting up special features as needed.
- Support the overall team in creating a seamless guest experience.
- Additional Duties:
- Assist in promoting Chucktown Activities through positive interactions with guests and by sharing information about our offerings.
- Be available to help with general venue operations, such as answering phones or restocking supplies.
Qualifications:
- Outgoing, friendly personality with excellent communication skills.
- Strong customer service mindset and the ability to handle groups of varying sizes.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining safety standards.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Previous experience in entertainment, hospitality, or events is a plus but not required.
