Provide and support customer SPECTRUM MANAGEMANT branch with all essential duties and job functions in all facets of integration services as required.

Responsibilities
Essential Duties & Job Functions:
- Provide SME-level RF electronics technical support for USCG HF shipboard systems and assist in the sustainment activities required to support USCG shipboard HF communications systems
- Conduct reviews of Engineering Changes to assess any potential EMI/RADHAZ impacts to proposed changes.
- Analyze plans and programs, integrate with external agencies accomplishing equipment acquisition, and participate in Test and Evaluation and strategic planning activities.
- Develop test plans that define the type of testing (e.g. functional, performance, usability) and the test level (e.g. unit, integration, field testing) to be performed for EMI/RADHAZ analysis and testing.
- Conduct reviews of Engineering Changes to assess any potential EMI/RADHAZ impacts to proposed changes.
- Deploy to sites as required to resolve reported EMI/RADHAZ issues in the field.
- Conduct testing onboard Coast Guard Cutters and shore sites to ensure Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) is maintained between systems.
- Assist engineers in conducting studies for EMI and RADHAZ.
- Construct Lab Mockups of RF equipment to test EMI conditions seen in the field.
- Maintain calibration and necessary repairs of all EMI government furnished equipment.
- Assess and repair RF connectors and cabling as required for EMI/RADHAZ studies.
Mandatory:
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Active Secret Security Clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or electrical engineering technology or
- Certification in an advanced electronics program from a technical school and ten (10) years RF communications system experience to include electronics design and installation plan development.
- Three (3) years of experience supporting MF/HF/VHF/UHF & SATCOMM U.S. Coast Guard (or U.S. Navy) shipboard systems.
- Familiarization with Automatic Link Establishment (ALE) radios
- Prior experience with federal government contracting with a preference for experience supporting USCG customers onsite.
- Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background check and pre-hire drug test.
