Job Overview

Performs duties necessary to maintain in good repair all electronic/electrical systems and equipment. Operates power monitoring software; routes and transfers power; analyzes fluctuations, quality, and abnormalities; makes adjustments; documents and reports data statistics for program improvement.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties & Job Functions:

• Works as an active member of the plant operations team, including sharing responsibility for on-call schedules and responding to plant outages.
• Participate in all normal plant operations tasks such as startup and shutdown, daily checks, record keeping, maintenance, housekeeping, and process adjustment.
• Responsible for instrument calibration cycles, controls troubleshooting, and implementing changes or updates to the control system.
• Responsible for ensuring all automated data logging is functioning properly and data logs are backed up on a regular basis.
• Maintains daily operation logs for shift in accordance with prescribed standards.
• Performs regular inspection and maintenance on plant process and associated equipment.
• Undertakes electrical and mechanical fault finding, repair, and reporting.
• Assists in planning maintenance and outage activities.
• Monitors equipment to measure, record and adjust within operating parameters, perform fault finding and repair as well as required scheduled maintenance.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
  
  

Job Requirements

Mandatory:

• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance at the Secret level, as applicable to the position requirement.
• Ability to successfully pass any employment background check and/or drug testing required on the contract.
• Valid state driver’s license with acceptable driving record as pertinent to the position.
• Able to understand and troubleshoot a variety of sensor systems including pressure transmitters, thermocouples, and proximity switches.
• Proficient using computers at an intermediate level.
