Job Overview
The Cybersecurity Specialist LRA is responsible for operating and maintaining Wing-Level Local Registration Authority (LRA) Program to ensure goals are accomplished on Maxwell Airforce Base. May be assigned a trainer role within the scope of authority. This is a full time, on-site role at Maxwell Air Force Base, Montgomery Alabama.

Responsibilities
Essential Duties & Job Functions:
- Consults with management, reviews project/task proposals to determine goals, time frame and procedures for accomplishing projects, staffing requirements and allotment of resources.
- Manage the Wing-Level LRA program in accordance with the DoD Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) office and applicable Air Force Instructions (AFI) and Air Force Manuals (AFMAN).
- Designate, appoint and train Trusted Agents (TA) for unclassified and classified certificates, email accounts and token matters.
- Perform PKI certificate management, integration and revocation on unclassified and classified networks and systems.
- Conduct certificate issue and revocation for organizational mailboxes for unclassified systems.
- Perform LRA Assessments where base organizations receive a cyber assessment report, training and compliancy on an annual basis.
- Execute an annual PKI audit in coordination with the Wing level cyber security office and DoD PKI office to ensure base compliancy.
- Manage and create the Certificate Registration Instructions (CRI) for issuance of user and admin classified tokens.
- Coordinate with Maxwell Communication Focal Point (CFP) on classified accounts and token issuance.
- Responsible for educating one-self on the policies and procedures governing USAF/DoD networks, pertinent AFI and AFMAN guidance.
- Responsible for interfacing with the customer about cyber security issues.
- Assist team members in the resolution of cyber security issues.
- Maintains documentation and measures results against cyber security specifications.
- Responsible for using the trouble ticket system to input, update, and track restoral actions for customers.
- Prepares status reports, metrics and keeps management, clients, and others informed of status.
- Performs other duties as assigned in accordance with contractual, functional and mission requirements.
Job Requirements
Mandatory:
- 5 years of experience with DoD Cybersecurity.
- IAM Level I I.E. Security CE.
- Able to obtain a Top Secret military Secret security clearance.
- Key Management Infrastructure (KMI).
- Ability to deal with a variety of people in a professional, courteous manner in diversified situations.
- Able to lift up to 40 unassisted, heavier items assisted.
- Able to reside at a desk working cybersecurity related issues for extended periods of time.
- Willing to perform shift work, stand-by/after hours and occassional weekend work.
- Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record pertinent to the position.
- Ability to successfully pass background checks and drug testing.
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Ability to obtain access to U.S. Government Installations through the Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS).
