What are the responsibilities and job description for the Corporate/Litigation Attorney position at Chugh LLP?
Responsibilities:
- Manage some or all of corporate transactions, litigation, immigration, mergers & acquisitions, and family law matters.
- Conduct legal research and draft briefs for attorneys, clients, and judicial bodies.
- Represent clients in court, arbitration, and other legal proceedings.
- Review and refine complex legal documents, including contracts.
- Negotiate contracts and resolve legal disputes.
- Identify and mitigate legal risks to prevent costly litigation.
- Perform due diligence on contracts, agreements, and mergers & acquisitions.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years as a practicing attorney.
- Active Tennessee State license (required).
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
- pay commensurate with experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
