Summary
The Corporate Sales and Special Events Manager will be responsible for all aspects of Corporate and Event Sales management including sourcing, selling, organizing and fulfilling events. Pre-sale, they will be responsible for sourcing leads, conducting outreach and maintaining a sales funnel; during the sales process they will ensure all information is entered through to the CVEATC CRM and PMS; during the event, they will be responsible for monitoring the logistics of these events, and execution of all rooms, equipment, AV, food, and beverage needs for the training center from booking through the conclusion.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Actively prospect for new corporate clients and utilize creative methods to close business while maintaining existing relationships with current accounts.
· Effectively prepares and presents quotes and proposals in a timely manner to customers.
· Effectively collaborates with vendors and other departments of the company to capture and service the events.
· Attends site visits, pre-event planning meetings, and appropriate venue meetings as necessary to support the client experience.
· Full-service event management, including all aspects of planning and execution.
· Understands event cost structure and incorporates this into event designs according to profitability guidelines.
· Delivers excellent service by cultivating and maintaining relations with clients, departments, and vendors that support the events.
· Manage a sales pipeline at all times to ensure the achievement of established revenue targets.
· Ensure all known opportunities are in CRM and completely accurate and updated at all times.
· Assists the sales team in the sales process, not limited to the creation and execution of sales material, contracts, event scheduling, and event diagrams as needed.
· Oversee event budget and ensure that expenses stay within set limits.
· Successfully plan, organize, and manage on- and off-campus events.
· Procure all necessary permits, event sanctions, supplies, and equipment.
· Coordinate on-site venue environment including signage, displays, vendor, check-in processes.
· Must be able to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and Holiday’s to fulfill client event needs.
· Responsible for performing all tasks safely and efficiently complying with all local, state, and federal safety and health regulations, and special safety concerns.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements and Experience
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
· Bachelor’s Degree or 3-5 years of related work experience.
· Experience leading corporate events in the sports and entertainment space or similar i.e. hotel and convention sales
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· MS Office proficient.
· Be at least 21 years of age with a valid California driver's license, and has no Class 1 or more than two Class 2 violations within the past 36 months.
· Must foster a professional attitude and demonstrate integrity and flexibility.
· Proven ability to manage a variety of tasks and meet multiple demands in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
