Overview:
The Information Technology (IT) Business Relationship Manager (BRM) acts as a liaison between IT and other business units of Chumash Enterprises. As departments increasingly rely on technology, the BRM establishes strong communication between IT and business units to understand technological needs and help break down silos to create a more holistic IT department. The BRM leads innovation to ensure business stays on top of technology trends and ensure initiatives are set up for success and align with the enterprise and IT strategy.
This role and its function are part of the IT shared services model. A Team Member in a shared service structure, works within a dedicated business unit (including people, processes, and technologies) that is structured as a centralized point of service and is focused on defined business functions. These units typically serve multiple business groups Enterprise-wide, and typically have established Service Level Agreements.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for forging strong relationships with key partners across the Enterprise.
- Acts as main IT project intake liaison to coordinate, manage, and help plan for the many IT resources that are involved in a large percentage of organization wide projects.
- Delivers relevant, timely information to keep IT department leadership abreast of business unit developments.
- Develops processes to help business leaders communicate to IT what they need to improve business performance.
- Assesses business problems from a technology perspective.
- Assists business units to develop IT strategies and solutions.
- Responsible for organizing, contributing, and managing an IT enterprise initiative portfolio.
- Maintains creativity and innovation by staying on top of industry and technological trends.
- Ensures initiatives are set up for success and align with the enterprise and IT strategy.

- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
- Five years of Information Technology experience.
- Ability to build and maintain business relationships.
- Ability to be collaborative and to encourage collaboration.
- Ability to positively influence others and to break down organizational silos.
- Solid project management skills.
- Effectively manage multiple small to large projects in a cross-functional environment.
- Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
- Ability to grasp new technologies quickly.
- Flexibility to work nights and/or weekends when required.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, database applications, email, and internet.
- Must apply for, receive, and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Agency.
- Native American hiring preference applies.

Salary : $114,289 - $142,861
