Overview
Responsible for providing a unique spa experience for guests by delivering exemplary customer service in spa reservations, treatment sales, treatment knowledge, retail sales, cashiering, and spa knowledge. Delivers professional and excellent guest service ensuring services and amenities provided are of Chumash Casino Resort standards and Gracious Hospitality standards.
Responsibilities
- Exemplifies high standards of guest service and professionalism at all times including welcoming and greeting clients warmly.
- Responsible for scheduling appointments for Spa guests receiving guests and performing check in duties; tending to departing guests and performing check out duties; and assisting retail customers.
- Responsible for generating guest reservations for spa services and following protocols to ensure required information is acquired to successfully schedule the appointment.
- Answers the telephone within three rings and provides the proper response.
- Maintains knowledge of all treatments and facility information to ensure accurate information is provided.
- Provides guests with product knowledge and home care information while upselling products and spa treatments.
- Receives payments for goods and services and properly accounts for all transactions and monies according to Spa policies and procedures.
- Maintains professional relationships with guests and other team members.
- Handles and assists with guest issues as needed. Communicates with management on all guest issues.
- Effectively communicates and summarize the day’s events in the daily departmental report.
- Maintains cleanliness of reception and retail area and assists with other areas of the spa as needed.
- Organizes, stocks, and maintains retail on display in the Spa and reports low inventory levels to management.
- Regularly attends meetings that may include treatment, product knowledge, and service trainings.

- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Certificate.
- One year of prior customer service experience, preferably in a spa environment.
- Previous cash handing experience.
- Basic computer proficiency utilizing Microsoft applications, email, and internet.
- Willingness to work flexible schedules in a 24/7 work environment, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
- Must apply for, receive, and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Agency.
