Job Summary: We are looking for a highly motivated Food Safety and Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at Church Brothers Farms. This role requires strong leadership and analytical skills to ensure food safety compliance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze food safety and quality data, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Lead root cause analysis efforts and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Develop dashboards and trend reports to track environmental monitoring, product quality, and compliance metrics.
- Participate in internal, second-party, and third-party audits (Primus, FDA, Organic, etc.), ensuring audit readiness.
- Evaluate QA testing equipment accuracy and support inventory management for QA supplies.
- Research and apply new food safety monitoring methods to enhance quality control programs.
Requirements:
- Three to Five years of related experience in a food systems or food manufacturing environment with increasing levels of responsibility and authority.
- Experience and knowledge of fruit & fresh produce raw materials, production processes, quality control, and cost management.
