Role Summary
Serving as the voice of the Consumer and Shopper, the Consumer and Shopper Center of Excellence directs the development of systems and conducts analysis to enhance Consumer & Shopper analytics and insights at Church & Dwight.
Job Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of systems that automate and monitor market, consumer, and shopper trends.
- Triage anomalous trends to identify meaningful and valuable market opportunities.
- Develop key actionable insights and recommendations that highlight sales opportunities for C&D across all categories and SBUs.
- Identify and drive strategic commercial opportunities working cross-functionally with retailer and C&D headquarter teams.
- Use analytics and insights to assess the sales risk and/or opportunities presented by external factors (e.g. store closings) and internal choices.
- Possess expertise in statistical methodologies and data science.
- Effectively communicate insights and analytics within internal C&D organization.
Requirements
- Graduate degree from an accredited college/university required.
- 3-5 years of analytical experience.
- Advanced analytical experience and capabilities required.
- Nielsen and/or IRI syndicated data experience preferred.
- Nielsen/IRI and/or Numerator panel data experience preferred.
- Experience with retailer data, especially Luminate and 84.51 preferred.
- CPG industry experience preferred.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and creative problem-solving skills.
