Responsibilities: - Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including preparing instruments and materials - Take and develop dental x-rays - Perform dental receptionist duties such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and managing patient records - Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures - Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care - Maintain a clean and sterile environment by following infection control protocols - Perform patient assessments, including taking vital signs and medical history - Utilize medical terminology and coding for accurate documentation - Manage and maintain dental records using electronic systems such as CAD Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent required - Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program preferred - X-Ray certification preferred- Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology preferred - Proficiency in medical coding and record management - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to work well in a team environment - Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively Please note that all positions at our dental practice are paid positions.
