The Talent Acquisition Specialist partners with leadership to anticipate and meet the evolving and diverse human capital needs and introduce top talent into the company. Sources, identifies, and attracts talent using a variety of recruitment channels and social media platforms. Builds and maintains networks/partnerships to actively expand the pipeline of talent. Anticipates and recommends solutions and new opportunities to advance the recruitment strategy and quality of talent.

**This is a hybrid position that requires 2 days per week in the office and can be based in either of our these 3 office locations:**

- Consult with leaders and hiring managers to determine recruitment needs for each open position. Develop and execute sourcing strategies and recruitment plans to meet identified needs, hire qualified talent, and cultivate a diverse and inclusive workforce.
- Source, identify and attract active and passive talent using a variety of recruitment channels and social media platforms. Screen candidates and forward qualified candidates to hiring manager for consideration.
- Conduct regular follow-up with hiring managers to determine the effectiveness of established recruitment plans and sourcing strategies.
- Proactively identify solutions and new opportunities to help advance talent acquisition and onboarding for the Company. Recommend new sources and methods for candidate recruitment.
- Participate in and/or lead various tactical and strategic-level talent acquisition initiatives and/or special projects.
- Post and update all job postings in various medias including internet/intranet sites, colleges, social networks, community boards and with external recruitment partners.
- Develop and execute written recruitment materials and campaigns. Utilize applicable technology to communicate recruitment messages and campaigns.
- Conduct new employee onboarding and ensure process is engaging and inclusive of all CM Group employees.
- Serve as a CM Group ambassador by developing and cultivating relationships with various organizations, educational institutions, students, faculty, staff, and candidates.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external recruitment partners. Advise and guide external partners through all aspects of the candidate submission and hiring processes.
- Research and participate in the most relevant career fairs, local job fairs and professional events to attract experienced talent.
- Organize, execute, and attend campus recruiting events such as career fairs, mock interviews, receptions, dinners, resume writing workshops, etc. to promote career opportunities, internships, and the Think Insurance Retreat. Recruit internal professionals to represent the Company on various campuses.
- Coordinate all internship programs for all departments, including MKE Fellows.
- Manage the annual Think Insurance event(s), serving as the lead of the committee, including marketing of event, event programming, presenter and student selection, and student evaluation of overall event. Responsible for budget of event.
- Maintain applicant tracking system.
- Develop recruitment related reports, metrics, and dashboards, as well as perform other recruitment administration functions as needed.
- Serve as a mentor and resource to others on recruitment related matters.
- May assist with other duties and projects as assigned.
- Significant travel will be required, with some overnight stays necessary.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources is required. Will consider degrees in other areas such as business, communications, etc.
- Minimum of 2-5 years' experience in recruiting/talent acquisition is required.

Demonstrated knowledge of various recruitment techniques, and experience in online/social media recruitment.
Human Resources certification is preferred or working toward certification is desirable. - Ability to successfully manage relationships and work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong customer service, negotiation skills and ability to interact with employees at all levels throughout the company.
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills to propose and implement new ideas and solutions.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively and promote the company’s brand and value proposition.
- Current and working knowledge of applicant tracking or recruiting databases.
- Strong work ethic and sense of integrity, trustworthiness, and ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Excellent organization and time management skills to set priorities and adjust workload to manage a diverse range of activities and projects.
- Strong knowledge of, and ability to work proficiently with, Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to travel as determined by campus activities, etc.
