COTK College is a Bible and ministry training institute offering a non-accredited certificate program in ministry leadership for students aged 18–24. Through an agreement with Oral Roberts University (ORU), a fully accredited Christian university, students may also pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Ministry and Leadership.

Applicants selected to teach an ORU class must also complete the ORU application process. If accepted, they will be designated as adjunct faculty employed by ORU.
Position Overview: Residential Adjunct Instructor
Residential adjunct instructors will:
- Lecture on assigned subject areas.
- Facilitate classroom discussions and group assignments.
- Grade and record classwork, including attendance.
- Evaluate overall student performance and conduct student conferences.
- Interact with university administrative staff and navigate ORU’s online platform and student information system.

Oral Roberts University at Church of the King seeks instructors for the following courses:
- LGOV 101 American Government and Politics: Study of American government institutions and processes at all levels, with attention to policy-making and the relationship between citizenship and Christian faith.
- LHUM 203 Learning from the Late Middle Ages: A historical survey emphasizing philosophical, religious, and cultural developments from 1300–1648, including the Renaissance, Reformation, and Scientific Revolution.
- LHUM 204 Understanding Western Modern Civilization: Focus on philosophical, religious, and cultural evolution in the modern era, including the Enlightenment, French Revolution, Industrial Revolution, world wars, globalization, and postmodernism.
- LHPE 102 Fitness for Life II: Personal fitness program development focusing on flexibility, strength, and weight control.
- LHPE 171 Discovering Health Fitness I: Introduction to the relationship between fitness and health, including cardio-respiratory conditioning and a weekly physical activity lab.
- LHPE 172 Discovering Health Fitness II: Continuation of LHPE 171, focusing on total body health and fitness, including nutrition and stress management.
- LMAT 105 College Algebra: Study of number systems, inequalities, and various functions (linear, polynomial, exponential, logarithmic, etc.).
- LMAT 151 Math and Society: Exploration of pattern and logic in problem-solving, including statistics and financial literacy.
- LMAT 232 Elementary Statistics: Introduction to statistical reasoning and data-informed decision-making using computer-based tools.
- LPSC 101 Principles of Physical Science Lecture: Overview of astronomy, physics, and chemistry.
Qualifications
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Hold a Master’s degree from an accredited institution with 18 graduate semester hours in the applicable subject area.
- Have prior teaching experience (preferred) and excellent communication and instructional skills.
- Demonstrate basic computer literacy and possess an up-to-date laptop.
- Be available to teach in-person, twice per week, for two-hour sessions, Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–7:00 PM.
- Exhibit outstanding Christian character and willingness to mentor young adults.
- Commit to the missions and doctrinal statements of Church of the King, COTK College, and ORU.
- Be eligible to work in the U.S.
