Job Opening: Business Manager - Resurrection Parish, Solon, Ohio**
Resurrection Parish in Solon, Ohio, is seeking a **Business Manager** to oversee and manage the financial and administrative operations of the parish. The ideal candidate will be a dedicated professional, committed to the mission of the Church, with a strong background in business management, accounting, and organizational leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including budgeting, accounting, payment of bills , offertory collections, and financial reporting.
- Manage parish administrative functions, including personnel files, facilities, and technology.
- Collaborate with parish staff and parishioners to achieve parish goals and strategic plan.
- Ensure compliance with diocesan policies, state and federal regulations.
- Oversee maintenance of parish properties, including scheduling and coordination of repairs and capital projects.
- Assist the pastor and pastoral staff in strategic planning to support the parish’s mission and growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5 years of experience in business management, accounting, or a related role.
- Knowledge of accounting software and proficiency in Microsoft 365.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Experience working in a church or nonprofit environment preferred.
- A practicing Catholic in good standing is highly preferred.
