Church Pension Group (CPG) is a financial services organization located in Midtown Manhattan. CPG was founded in 1917 to provide pension benefits to eligible clergy of the Episcopal Church. Since then, its mission has expanded to include life and disability insurance, health benefits, property & casualty insurance, and publishing. Content & Creative Services (CCS) is responsible for creating compelling communications that support CPG's strategic plan and our three lines of business. Using traditional and digital media, CCS will give voice to our work by broadcasting key messages, developing curricula, sharing information, and helping business partners drive engagement with the products, programs, and services that CPG offers. Senior Writer, Property & Casualty Insurance & Publishing
will be responsible for developing and producing promotional, informational, and transactional communications for publishing and property and casualty- related initiatives in support of Church Publishing Incorporated (CPI) and The Church Insurance Companies (CIC).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Effective performance of the essential functions of this position requires regular in-person, on-site interaction with colleagues, both for purposes of relationship building and meaningful collaboration.Manage and prepare client-related communicationsDevelop content for CPG's external communications channels (e.g., newsletters, annual reports, press releases, direct mail, email, invitations), highlighting CPI and CIC products, programs, and servicesProofread designed materialsPrepare conference / webinar presentations for senior leadersCreate factsheets and related collateral materialsDevelop communications around new product offeringsPrepare written client testimonialsDevelop byline articles for senior leadersQUALIFICATIONS

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Currently, hybrid work environment, which requires working in CPG's office Tuesdays through Thursdays and flexibility to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays.
