Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Freight Broker to join our team. We are looking for someone who has an established book of business they can bring onboard. Freight Broker will be responsible for negotiating rates with carriers, coordinating shipments, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and a proven track record of success in the freight brokerage industry. Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with carriers and shippers
- Negotiate rates and terms with carriers
- Coordinate shipments and ensure timely delivery of goods
- Track shipments and provide updates to customers
- Resolve any issues that arise during the shipping process
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and laws
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years experience in the freight brokerage industry
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and laws
- Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or a related field (preferred)
