Churchill McGee, LLC, a respected general contractor specializing in light commercial construction, has an immediate opening for a Carpenter to lead our expanding work in the Central Kentucky area.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Metal stud installation
- Drywall installation & finishing
- Acoustical ceiling system installation
- Insulation installation
- Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient way to ensure zero accidents and maintain job budgets
- Effectively identify scope of work and determine required tools, equipment and procedures required to achieve desired finish and performance results
- Be able to communicate to foreman equipment and manpower needed to meet schedules and deadlines
- Load and unload trucks, vans, or automobiles.
- May be required to perform tasks from other job descriptions depending on available work and schedules.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of carpentry experience.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
- Skilled in carpentry, concrete and roof repairs.
- Proficient with power tools and hand tools.
Education and Other Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- OSHA 10 certification (preferred).
- Valid driver’s license and own transportation required.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
