What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Foreman position at Churchill McGee?
Churchill McGee, LLC, a respected general contractor specializing in light commercial construction, has an immediate opening for a Lead Foreman to lead our expanding work in the Central Kentucky area.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Supervise carpenters, laborers and coordinate with project managers and sub-contractors.
- Manage construction schedules and budgets, ensuring deadlines and budget constraints are met.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders and address any issues.
- Monitor safety programs and conduct regular job site inspections.
- Resolve conflicts and manage daily project documentation.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of interior construction with leadership experience.
- Proficient in reading blueprints and using construction management software.
- Knowledge of construction regulations and safety protocols (OSHA)
- Strong project management, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans.
Education and Other Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- OSHA 10 certification (preferred).
- Valid driver’s license and own transportation required.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
