Basic Function
Churchill Mortgage is looking to fill an Accounting department position with an emphasis on financial analytics. The ideal candidate for this role will carry out professional duties related to accounting and finance with 3 to 5 years’ experience preferred. They will have a high degree of accounting software expertise and will be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel. Must be well organized, detail-oriented and possess remarkable analytical and critical thinking skills.

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting or at least 3 to 5 years relevant work experience; direct experience in the mortgage industry preferred but not required.

- Complete assigned reconciliations accurately, completely and in the time frame required by corporate policies.
- Work with internal financial reporting personnel to support timely and accurate completion of monthly, quarterly and annual internal and external reporting.
- Preparing models for various executives and satellite branch locations including, but not limited to productivity, budgeting, and financial projection models.
- Assisting in budgeting and forecasting processes by providing financial insights and recommendations.
- Actively involved in analyzing and reviewing transactions to ensure adherence to applicable accounting guidance and internal controls.
- Basic accounting functions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and posting journal entries may be required at times
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned or requested.
