What are the responsibilities and job description for the Closing Analyst position at Churchill Real Estate?
As part of the Operations team, the Closing Analyst is responsible for managing the overall loan process from clear to close through funding. They prepare and review closing documents for completeness and accuracy, review title reports and coordinate loan funding. Being a Closer involves extensive interaction with clients, other product partners, third party vendors and internal teams.
Responsibilities :
- Review title commitment, real estate tax information and other loan details.
- Prepare closing documents by completing forms and statements, collecting and reviewing existing documents.
- Ensure the settlement statement and post-close deliverables conform to the loan documents and closing expectations.
- Maintain file status and communication details to monitor and track appropriate documentation requirements.
- Set up loan funding calculations and prepares account documents including escrow analysis, property taxes and insurance, and reconciliation sheet; ensures accuracy of all related accounting entries; resolves all closing figures with title company, Attorney and internal accounting team.
- Monitor construction loan closing pipeline activity and help lead discussion in weekly internal pipeline meetings.
- Prepare and submit wire requests for loan funding along with applicable supporting documentation.
- Work with Director and Managing Director on all process improvement activities.
- Assist in developing and maintaining procedures, contribute to ongoing system and process development and improvements as a subject matter expert.
