Job Description

Pay Range: $70,160.00 - $88,900 annually

The Equipment and Set Up Coordinator ensures gym equipment assets are optimized to deliver an exceptional member experience. This role combines strategic vision with hands-on execution, overseeing equipment research, selection, budgeting, lifecycle analysis, and logistics for new builds, remodels, and replacements. Staying ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies, the Manager partners with industry leaders and internal teams to design layouts, optimize operations, and develop maintenance training, ensuring innovative, high-performing equipment solutions.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Proactively research and remain current with industry regulations, standards, and trends, researching potential vendor partnerships and emerging technologies
• Collaborate with Home Office leadership to align prototype strategies and relocation plans to address member usage and needs
• Develop and implement a total cost program to ensure the programs and selections are robust and maintainable over the long term
• Participate in maintenance program design and implement best practices in equipment management, making informed decisions regarding maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and new acquisitions
• Maintain and foster strategic relationships with equipment manufacturers and distributors, both existing and their competitors
• Evaluate vendor performance and ensure adherence to contractual terms, quality standards, and delivery timelines
• Develop and oversee a revolving capital budget for fitness equipment with relocation and sunsetting plans and projections
• Implement cost-effective solutions for equipment procurement, maintenance, and repairs
• Engage in the growth and development process by implementing feedback and proactively seeking opportunities for personal growth

• 3 - 5 years: Experience in equipment management, multi-location fitness, or related industry preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Sports Management, Business Administration, or a related field
