Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design and implementation of modern web applications with a strong focus on user-facing behaviors.

- Analyze code and application execution for optimization and performance tuning to ensure high-quality software products.

- Be relentless in the pursuit of continuous improvement within the development team.

- Help promote a culture of quality and excellence in software development practices.

- Work closely with the Product Owner to ensure the team stays aligned with project goals and objectives.

Qualifications & Skills

- Strong programming skills in TypeScript and JavaScript.

- A minimum of 6 years of work experience as a software engineer, with at least 4 years in a commercial cloud-based Software as a Service (SaaS) environment.

- Extensive and demonstrable experience with modern web development technologies, including React and TypeScript (ideally with experience across the full stack).

- Proven experience leading software design sessions and collaborating in a multi-disciplinary team to propose best-in-class designs for software requirements.

- Experience working with User Experience Designers to translate UI mockups into functional software, actively involving all stakeholders in the review process.

- A natural attention to detail and a drive to create the best possible experience for software users.

- Knowledge across the entire development lifecycle, from partnership with UX design to development, unit testing, automated functional testing, deployment, and monitoring.

- Demonstrated experience working with Scrum practices.

- Knowledge of professional software engineering practices for the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and deployment.
