As a Senior Ellucian Banner Developer, you will be instrumental in the design, development, and optimization of the Ellucian Banner ERP system across essential modules, including Student, Finance, HR, and Financial Aid. Your role will focus on developing scalable solutions, optimizing system performance, and ensuring seamless integrations with third-party applications. Collaborating closely with technical teams, you will customize Banner solutions to meet the diverse needs of higher education institutions, while also engaging in frontend development to create user-friendly interfaces.
Requirements:
- Develop, test, and deploy solutions within the Ellucian Banner ERP system across core modules.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and deliver technical solutions.
- Maintain and improve application performance, scalability, and reliability through best practices.
- Customize, configure, and integrate Banner solutions based on functional and technical specifications.
- Implement frontend technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks to create responsive user interfaces.
- Integrate Banner with third-party applications and RESTful APIs for seamless data flow.
- Mentor junior developers and foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Required English Level: B2 (Conversational)
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with Ellucian Ethos for data governance, workflow automation, and system extensibility.
- Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control tools (Git, Jenkins, or similar) for deployment automation.
- Knowledge of higher education security and compliance standards (RBAC, FERPA, Title IV, GDPR, etc.).
- Knowledge of LMS integrations (e.g., Blackboard, Canvas, Moodle) with Ellucian Banner.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies for managing ERP development cycles.
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with stakeholders and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
