About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team! This role is responsible for processing invoices, managing vendor payments, and maintaining accurate financial records. Additionally, this position updates systems for material deliveries, handles office supply orders, and act as a back up payroll processor. Responsibilities
✅ Receive, process, verify, and reconcile invoices✅ Allocate costs to the appropriate GL account✅ Work with vendors to secure available payment discounts✅ Update the system when materials are delivered to the facility✅ Greeting visitors and answering calls professionally✅ Order and maintain office supply inventory✅ Process orders for select production supplies✅ Prepare monthly AP accruals and collaborate with customers and vendors
Qualifications
📌 2 to 3 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting
📌 Degree in Accounting preferred📌 Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas)📌 Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry📌 Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities📌 Ability to analyze financial information📌 Strong communication and customer service skills📌 Basic knowledge of accounting principles and general math
📌 Expereince processing payroll a plus
