POSITION SUMMARY
The Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst designs and builds data marts and data warehouses by aggregating data from multiple sources for data mining, writing queries and designing reports and dashboards. This includes gathering and analyzing data in support of business reporting and analysis. The Analyst collaborates in the planning, design, development, and deployment of new applications, and enhancements to existing applications.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and build BI effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Debug, monitor and troubleshoot BI solutions.
- Write relational and multidimensional database queries.
- Create and deploy reports as needed.
- Prepare and deliver reports, recommendations, or alternatives that address existing and potential opportunity areas of data in the database.
- Work closely with other team members to deliver effective global BI architecture in a timely manner.
- Educate and advise internal customers on how to leverage available data for consumption.
- Assist in development, roll-out, and maintenance of dashboards, both executive and management reporting, across the enterprise.
- Build relationships with BI partners to understand data needs in order to execute with excellence on documented user requirements and prototypes.
- Develop and maintain an enterprise data architecture roadmap to improve the maturity and effectiveness of enterprise data management.
- Any and all other duties as assigned.
