Key Responsibilities
- Prepare daily lesson plans for classes and teach classes as requested and scheduled.
- Work individually with students who have questions about course information or who need assistance in their studies.
- Provide regular and constructive feedback to students in an objective, consistent, and timely manner; evaluate and document student performance using established methods and criteria.
- File course grades promptly within the specific timeframe allowed.
- Participate in additional course, program, and institutional assessment as appropriate.
Qualifications
Education:
- Master's degree in literature, rhetoric and composition, or a related field.
- PhD in area in literature, rhetoric and composition, or a related field.
- Two (2) years college level teaching experience.
- Experience with course management systems.
