We are seeking a friendly and organized Maitre d' Host to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Greet guests as they arrive and provide them with an inviting atmosphere.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow.
- Maintain an organized waiting list and communicate wait times to guests accurately.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Answer phone calls with professionalism, handling inquiries about reservations, menu items, and special events.
- Resy or Open Table experience required.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization in the host area.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Proficiency in using POS systems; familiarity with Aloha POS is a plus.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Demonstrated phone etiquette for handling calls professionally.
