We are looking for a VP of Sales who will manage top-tier client accounts and lead the sales team through strategic development, creating clear revenue goals, and developing the sales department to continue to grow.

A SNAPSHOT OF THE FIRST 12 MONTHS MAY INCLUDE:
Within the first 30-90 days:
Learns Cibao Meats products, processes, procedures, and culture as well as the meaning and impact behind the Tradition of Quality slogan.
Meets with the top 20 clients to establish relationships and listen to their needs. Begins analyzing feedback from clients to create marketing strategies for each client.
Partners with the Regional Director of Sales to begin creating a strategic sales plan.
By 3-4 months and ongoing:
- Has met with all clients in the area in person and creates a schedule to check in with each client to maintain relationships and product sales.
- Establishes clear performance metrics for the sales team and provides regular updates to executive leadership on progress.
- Conducts ongoing competitive research and analysis to understand the competitive landscape, monitor competitors' activities, and develop strategies.
By 6 months and ongoing:
- Collaborates with the Regional Director of Sales to monitor the sales teams performance, identifying potential growth opportunities, and provide ongoing support to develop the sales team.
- Presents the annual sales plan to the President, Comptroller and CEO for approval.
- Collaborates closely with the marketing and accounting team to execute business development strategies, promotional campaigns, and pricing new products.
- Helps and provides support for the recruiting of 1 additional sales associates.
By 9-12 months and ongoing:
- 100% knows Cibao 50 products, product numbers, prices, packaging, UPCs, and how many pieces of product the technical side needs to know.
- Has planned and implemented one sales strategy through to fruition with established plans to refine the strategy based on the past 12 months' learnings.
- The sales department has seen a 15-20% growth in the overall sales and a 12-15% growth in the top 20 client account sales.
- 2-3 new product(s) have been introduced into the market with clear sales targets and plans established to expand market share.
EDUCATION, SKILL, EXPERIENCE:
- 10 years of experience in sales leadership in a variety of companies and industries required
- 7 years of business development experience required, specifically with strategic account management and relationship building
- Bachelors degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field required
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) preferred
- 5 years experience in the food or food manufacturing industry strongly preferred
- Demonstrate a collaborative leader who can develop a sales strategy with persistent execution and achievement required
- Proven understanding of the food industry dynamics, i.e. supermarkets, club stores, and wholesale distributors required
- Self-starter who is hungry to lead initiatives in a high-growth environment required
- Proven experience working in an Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) system is preferred
- Bilingual, with proficiency in both English and Spanish, a plus

COMPENSATION AND COMPANY BENEFITS:
The compensation range for this position is $140,000-$165,000 annually, based on skillset, and experience level plus annual performance bonus compensation available with targeted Goals reached (Executive level discussion and Framework after 6 months minimum employed)
Benefits include: Health insurance, 401(k), 3 weeks of paid vacation and 7 days sick/personal days accrued per year, Work From Home Policy eligible after the first 3 months
