Debt Capital Markets
The DCM team is part of CIBC’s U.S. Investment Banking team, charting the course of executing transactions in a constantly changing market environment. This team provides our Investment Grade clients with advisory, origination, and execution services for bonds, hybrid capital, and private placements. The successful candidate will be one who can adapt to these changing conditions with creativity, energy and an entrepreneurial spirit in order to meet the evolving demands of our clients.

Summer Analysts will need to be effective communicators capable of building relationships both internally and with clients. As a Summer Analyst, you will have the responsibility of providing detailed analytical, financial modeling, structuring, research and transaction support to senior professionals in your business, helping to win business and execute transactions.

Important information
- You are enrolled in an undergraduate degree in a business related discipline at the time of the internship
- Expected graduation date of December 2026 – June 2027

- Location: New York. Please note all employees reside within the United States. All CIBC student positions require you to be based in New York for the duration of the term

- Excellent writing and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex concepts
- Proven ability to contribute to high performance teams
- Ability to work within a non-public information environment requiring adherence to strict internal procedures
