The Analyst, US ERM Programs is accountable for supporting the Senior Program Director, Risk Reporting and Innovation in the development and ongoing implementation of the following :
- Risk Data analyze and implement Key Risk Indicators (KRI) and related Management Information Systems (MIS) to track and report KRIs
- Risk Reporting analyze and enhance existing reports and design new reports and MIS supporting integrated risk reporting.
- Process Improvement and Automation understand existing processes and controls, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, including the use of technology to automate workflows and controls.
- Governance, Risk, and Controls (GRC) maintain an integrated data management (GRC) system.
Position requires a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related STEM field with 0 - 3 years of work history; experience with application development or report development using visualization tools, including Power BI (preferred), Tableau or similar; and, an understanding of relational databases and SQL.
Preferred qualifications include : (1) continuous improvement and automation of existing processes using Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools, preferably Power Automate; (2) development using Power Apps and Dataverse (3) programming skills (e.g., Python, JavaScript, HTML, XML) and (4) experience in the banking industry and in financial risk management.

At CIBC, we offer a competitive total rewards package. This role has an expected salary range of $62,000 - $92,000 for the market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business units incentive compensation plan, which may also include a discretionary bonus component.
