The Head of Stress Testing Governance and Reporting for the US Region reports to Head of US Capital Stress Testing and Allowance for Credit Losses and is accountable for the following :
- Ensure adherence to established policies, procedures, applicable regulatory requirements, including documentation and internal controls.
- Establish and maintain US Region capital and portfolio credit stress testing governance policies and procedures consistent with industry best practices and regulatory requirements, ensuring adherence to the established policies, including documentation and internal controls.
- Manage and enhance the processes compiling and presenting stress testing and ACL results to senior management, board members and regulatory bodies.
- Oversee the development of presentations and narratives that articulate stress testing and ACL outcomes, impact assessments and recommendations.
- Act as a key point of contact for the reporting and communication of stress testing results across the organization; collaborate with stakeholders in Risk Management, Finance and LOBs to facilitate the use of stress testing results to support Risk Identification, Risk Appetite setting and monitoring processes.
- Manage the effective review and challenge process of capital and portfolio stress testing results across the organization, coordinating with stakeholders in Risk Management, Finance, Treasury and LOBs
- Manage the Stress Testing and Allowance for Credit Losses Assumptions, Limitations and Weaknesses templates and the documentation of overlays.
- Oversee stress testing and Allowance Credit Losses development initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal and external audit, independent control testing and regulators to facilitate reviews, control and ensure robustness of the stress testing program.

At CIBC, we offer a competitive total rewards package. This role has an expected salary range of $140,000 - $175,000 for the market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which may also include a discretionary bonus component.
