- What Youll Be Doing
- Exposed to businesses ranging from $5mln to $1bln in revenue, offering financial solutions for businesses.
- Support senior deal team members in the groups activities ranging from deal origination, structuring and underwriting.
- Works closely with team members and cross-functional teams within the bank to prepare internal documentation
- Participates in client due diligence and pre screen meetings
- Who You Are
- Bachelors Degree, preferably with a major / minor in Finance / Accounting
- Support Portfolio Managers and Relationship Managers to understand and apply credit policy and interpreting financial statements
- Participate in the underwriting process, preparing financial models, profitability and risk rating models.
- Ability to multi task and strong attention to detail
- Strong analytical skills and decision making abilities

At CIBC, we offer a competitive total rewards package. This role has an expected salary of $72,500 for the market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business units incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component.
