Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Warehouse Supervisor to oversee operations in a high-paced manufacturing facility. This role requires a hands-on leader who excels in inventory management, data analysis, and team supervision to ensure seamless warehouse operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Supervision & Leadership:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency in material handling, order fulfillment, and storage.
- Lead and train warehouse staff to meet operational goals and maintain compliance with company procedures.
- Monitor workflow and adjust labor resources as needed to meet production demands.
- Enforce safety regulations and ensure a clean, organized warehouse environment.
- Inventory Management:
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular cycle counts.
- Implement best practices to optimize space utilization and inventory flow.
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure raw materials and finished goods are available as needed.
- Manage incoming shipments, returns, and stock replenishment while minimizing discrepancies.
- Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Analyze warehouse data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
- Develop reports on inventory levels, order accuracy, and labor productivity.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and other analytical tools to improve decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights for continuous process improvement.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in warehouse supervision within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and WMS systems.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, ERP systems, or other warehouse reporting software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage warehouse personnel.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance in a warehouse setting.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with FIFO inventory control methods.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
- Ability to drive process improvements and automation initiatives.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including production, logistics, and quality control.
