Data Analyst, Warehouse Operations Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated Warehouse Supervisor to oversee operations in a high-paced manufacturing facility. This role requires a hands-on leader who excels in inventory management, data analysis, and team supervision to ensure seamless warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, the ability to multitask, and a keen eye for detail to drive efficiency and accuracy in a fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervision & Leadership:
• Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency in material handling, order fulfillment, and storage.
• Lead and train warehouse staff to meet operational goals and maintain compliance with company procedures.
• Monitor workflow and adjust labor resources as needed to meet production demands.
• Enforce safety regulations and ensure a clean, organized warehouse environment.
• Inventory Management:
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular cycle counts.
• Implement best practices to optimize space utilization and inventory flow.
• Coordinate with production teams to ensure raw materials and finished goods are available as needed.
• Manage incoming shipments, returns, and stock replenishment while minimizing discrepancies.
• Data Analysis & Reporting:
• Analyze warehouse data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
• Develop reports on inventory levels, order accuracy, and labor productivity.
• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and other analytical tools to improve decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights for continuous process improvement.

Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience in warehouse supervision within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of inventory management principles and WMS systems.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, ERP systems, or other warehouse reporting software.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage warehouse personnel.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance in a warehouse setting.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working with FIFO inventory control methods.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
• Ability to drive process improvements and automation initiatives.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including production, logistics, and quality control.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 – 50 per week
