We are seeking a dedicated Project Estimator to join our team and take the lead in delivering precise and effective estimates for ambitious construction projects. In this role, you will focus on one project at a time, ensuring thorough attention to detail and excellence throughout the estimating process. While considered a lead estimator role, the emphasis is on creating accurate and comprehensive CSI Division and Uniformat estimates for both conceptual and final bids. With significant involvement in self-performed work, particularly concrete takeoff and analysis, you will play a key role in project success. Reporting to the Senior Estimator, the Project Estimator will develop tailored pricing strategies, foster strong subcontractor relationships, and support bids across diverse project types.
Essential Duties

Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners.
Estimate key scopes on major projects.
Lead estimates on smaller projects.
Develop strategies to gain a bid advantage on estimates.
Identify and address risks during the procurement process.
Ensure a comprehensive scope is captured during the estimating process.
Survey and price all self-perform work items, including concrete, rough carpentry, and building specialties.
Conduct estimate reviews on smaller projects for executive management.
Communicate estimate scope and pricing details to clients.
Focus on personnel training, development, and evaluation.
Position Qualifications
A 4-year degree in civil or structural engineering, architecture, or construction management, or 9 years of equivalent experience without a degree.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in estimating large commercial construction projects.
Valid Drivers License.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Basic knowledge of UNIFORMAT and the conceptual estimating process.
Proficiency in computer skills and familiarity with software programs such as On-Screen Take-Off, Building Connected, SAGE, and Assemble.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: The compensation for this position ranges between $100,000 and $115,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
Company Vehicle: Roles at the project engineer level and above are eligible, based on company policies.
Cell Phone/Allowance: All salaried employees can opt for a company cell phone or receive a corresponding allowance, as per company guidelines.
Annual Bonus: Applicable to salaried roles at the level of project engineers and above, contingent on company and individual performance.
