Procurement Associate

Responsible for supporting procurement requests in the Americas region and assisting with procurement projects initiated by Hong Kong SAR or the headquarters in Mainland China. This role involves selecting suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.

• Lead procurement activities in the Americas region, covering all categories including but not limited to Professional Services, IT, Travels & Marketing, and General Administrations.
• In charge of vendor sourcing, price & commercial terms negotiation, cost analysis, vendor selection & evaluation.
• Work with internal stakeholders to determine specifications and requirements of assigned sourcing projects. Handle corresponding RFP/tender process.
• Manage contracts with third party suppliers by achieving the best commercial terms and conditions, mitigate potential supply risks for the company.
• Establish and review the SLA of vendors with internal and external stakeholders from time to time.
• Ensure the procurement process is in compliance with internal policies, procedures and local regulatory requirements.
• Provide sourcing direction and guidance in accordance with the Group procurement policy and strategy.
• Identify saving opportunities whenever possible.
• Undertake any other duties and assignments as directed by team head.

Qualifications:

• Relevant bachelor’s degree or above, such as in Business, IT, Administration, Supply Chain Management, CIPS or ISM qualification is preferred, but not mandatory.
• Preferred 2 years working or relevant internship experience, preferable in multinational financial institutions.
• Preferred experience in managing regional procurement activities and negotiate terms with global vendors.
• Familiar with regulator’s requirements is an advantage.
• Preferred experience on formal procurement and tendering process.
• Strong sense of integrity, team player, self-motivated with business acumen.
• Fluent in multiple languages is a plus.
