What are the responsibilities and job description for the FOH Key / Dining Room Manager position at Ciccio Restaurant Group?
The FOH Key/ Dining Room Manager is a leadership position within our organization that provides direct support to both the Assistant General Manager and General Manager in their efforts to maintain efficient restaurant operations. The Dining Room Manager ensures smooth, efficient, and guest-focused operations in the dining area. They lead the front-of-house team, maintain service standards, and collaborate with the AGM and GM to uphold the restaurant’s vision and financial goals. All of our leaders are expected to lead by example, promote a strong positive culture and demonstrate an eagerness to grow and develop with our company.

THE BASICS
- Build meaningful guest relationships and ensure a positive dining experience by prioritizing in-person engagement.
- Own guest satisfaction—resolve concerns quickly and partner with leadership on escalated issues.
- Coach and support FOH/BOH teams, fostering a motivated and high-performing culture.
- Lead daily pre-shift meetings and actively train new team members on service standards and policies.
- Oversee floor operations, staffing, and service quality during shifts.
- Complete daily admin tasks and ensure accurate documentation of inventory and vendor management.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized restaurant by enforcing cleanliness standards and safety protocols.
- Monitor FOH checkout process, conduct line checks, and perform store audits for quality control.
- Stay on top of team communication, responding promptly to emails and tech issues.
- Handle financial tasks including cash handling, deposit reconciliation, and reviewing sales reports.
- Support the catering program and collaborate with the catering manager as needed.
- Hold a current ServSafe Food Manager Certification and ensure all legal, labor, and health code compliance.

PRE-REQs
- 18 years of age or older

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Can work in both hot and cool environments

- Able to work in a fast-paced setting for up to 8 hours daily, or as needed

- Must go through certification in all FOH positions
- Must pass food Safety Certification and any job related Validation and Assessments
