Job Summary:
As a Skid Steer Attachment Powder Coating Technician, you will be responsible for applying high-quality powder coatings to skid steer attachments and ensuring the durability and aesthetic appeal of the finished products. Key Responsibilities:
1. Powder Coating Application:
- Prepare skid steer attachments for the powder coating process by cleaning, sandblasting, and masking as needed.
- Set up and operate powder coating equipment, including powder guns, booths, and curing ovens.
- Apply powder coatings evenly and consistently to achieve the desired finish, texture, and color.
- Ensure proper adhesion and coverage, minimizing defects such as drips, sags, or uneven coating.
2. Quality Control:
- Inspect coated skid steer attachments for imperfections, including bubbles, runs, or overspray.
- Make necessary adjustments to the powder coating equipment to maintain quality standards.
- Touch up and rework as required to meet quality specifications.
3. Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to all safety guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of chemicals.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations related to powder coating processes and waste disposal.
4. Maintenance and Cleaning:
- Perform routine maintenance on powder coating equipment to ensure its proper functioning.
