Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers through phone and email communication, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
- Sales & Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through outbound calls, emails, and strategic sales efforts to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Product Consultation & Sales: Understand customer needs, recommend suitable products, demonstrate features, provide pricing and availability information, and solicit orders.
- Order Management & Post-Sales Support: Process orders, estimate lead times, follow up with clients to resolve issues, and provide ongoing support, including training on new equipment when necessary.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and lead progress to track performance and opportunities.
- Collaboration & Industry Awareness: Work closely with internal teams to optimize the sales process while staying up to date on industry trends, market conditions, and competitive offerings.
Requirements:
Sales & Communication Skills:
- Track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong phone presence with experience making high-volume outbound calls.
- Effective listening and presentation skills.
Work Approach & Collaboration:
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Highly organized with strong time management and attention to detail.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving targets.
Technical & Industry Knowledge:
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of skid steers and related equipment is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in inside sales or a similar role preferred.
