As Lead Stylist you will:
- Ascertain new resources for trend, design and concept information alongside our Trend Department
- Identify key looks and silhouettes to support concepts or shops
- Keep abreast of ever-changing customer identity and interests relating to the social and cultural aspects of their lifestyle
- Participate in seasonal style-outs
- Collect images to represent and illustrate current and future trends
- Manage the US Styling Process with the Merchandising Design Teams
- Ownership and execution of all styling and technical pinning on set.
- Manage styling closet
- Oversee interns/assistants
- Focus on E-Commerce, and Campaign Styling
- This position partners with Creative, Merchandising, Design, and Marketing teams
- Work closely on calendar planning and sample availability.
Your Experience and Skills include:
- 4 to 7 years of experience required in styling for an E-Commerce retailer/brand.
- An extremely strong knowledge of trends and the ability to translate visually
- Technically advanced with on-set pinning and have a strong understanding of fit.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; can patiently and effectively communicate with a diverse and multicultural group of peers across time zones and continents.
- Nimble, scrappy and adaptable. Can roll with the punches and thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment
- You believe that feedback is a gift; you can receive and grow from feedback, and you’re comfortable sharing thoughtful feedback to others as needed
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally
- Bonus points if you’re fluent in Mandarin
