Weatherford is seeking a results-oriented Senior IT Program Manager to join our team as part of our Oracle Cloud Transformation journey.
This role requires a professional with a strong background in managing large-scale implementations, driving governance processes, and leveraging program management tools to deliver successful outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have the confidence to escalate critical issues to leadership when necessary and will be a proactive problem solver capable of ensuring accountability across teams. Key Responsibilities :
- Program Leadership : Drive alignment across stakeholders, ensuring program objectives are met on time and within budget. Foster a collaborative environment to promote effective teamwork and communication among cross-functional teams.
- Project Planning Develop detailed project plans, including tasks, timelines, dependencies, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Project Execution and Monitoring : Oversee the day-to-day activities of the project to ensure adherence to the plan. Track project progress and manage schedules to ensure milestones are achieved on time. Use tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or other software for project tracking and reporting.
- Governance and Tools : Establish and maintain robust governance processes, including RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies) logs, to track program progress and mitigate risks effectively. Enable and manage program tools such as Jira for task tracking, testing, and reporting. Oversee onboarding processes for program team members, ensuring readiness to contribute effectively.
- Financial and Resource Management : Manage program financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and tracking actuals against planned expenditures. Ensure resource allocation aligns with program priorities and resolve resourcing conflicts as needed.
- Issue Management and Escalation : Act as the escalation point for program risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution through leadership engagement and cross-team collaboration. Provide transparent updates to leadership, highlighting critical challenges and recommending actionable solutions. Qualifications :
- Education : Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
PMP, PRINCE2, or other program management certifications preferred.
