How You Will Contribute:
Reporting to the Director of IT Services for Sales and Marketing, as the Senior Salesforce Business Analyst, you will be responsible for capturing problems of our Sales community and guiding towards technology enabled solutions. This initiative is core to our digital transformation for our go to market team.
- Document business process flows
- Seek and solve the root of problems
- Work independently with business stakeholders to collect requirements, including: interface requirements, integration requirements, user impacts and training requirements, workflow requirements, data requirements, reporting requirements
- Document requirements in user stories that can be actioned by Salesforce developers
- Perform data driven analysis where needed
- Track and report progress of initiatives
- Demonstrate changes to business stakeholders
- Test delivered changes against requirements, and guide users in their testing
- Develop and measure KPIs to quantify success
- Manage support requests to resolution

The Must Haves:
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for a remote first team

- Understanding of industry standard quote to cash business process
- 3 - 5 years experience in Salesforce Sales Cloud including business analyst and or Salesforce administration
- Experience working with an agile development model including tracking work in Jira
- Experience working with enterprise level Salesforce instance (1,000 users)
- Experience with data reporting using Salesforce CRM Analytics or similar BI system

Compensation and Benefits
The annual pay range for this position is 78500 - 125500 CAD
Pay ranges at Ciena are designed to accommodate variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions, and locations, reflecting our diverse products, industries, and lines of business. Please note that the pay range information provided in this posting pertains specifically to the primary location, which is the top location listed in case multiple locations are available.
Non-Sales employees may be eligible for a discretionary incentive bonus, while Sales employees may be eligible for a sales commission.
