The Business Office Manager is a critical member of our team, responsible for managing the day-to-day office functions and ensuring the accurate and timely processing of claims.
Key responsibilities of this position include:
- Managing the facility's accounts receivable system, including recording daily collections and depositing funds to the appropriate accounts
- Establishing and maintaining effective communication with patients and family members regarding payment for services
- Generating timely billing of all payer classes for claims generated by the facility
- Reviewing Medicare, Managed Care, Medicare Advantage, and Medicaid claims, as well as processing Medicaid applications and closing Resident Trust accounts in a timely manner
