- Planning and Scope Definition:
- Define project goals, scope, and objectives.
- Develop project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
- Execution and Monitoring:
- Oversee project execution, ensuring activities are completed according to the plan.
- Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and identify potential issues.
- Make adjustments as necessary to keep the project on track.
- Team Management and Communication:
- Lead and motivate project teams, assigning tasks and providing guidance.
- Manage team performance and address conflicts or issues.
- Communicate project status to stakeholders, including clients, management, and other relevant parties.
- Budget and Resource Management:
- Manage project budgets and ensure expenses stay within allocated limits.
- Allocate and manage project resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and supplies.
- Risk Management:
- Identify and assess potential project risks.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation plans.
- Quality Control:
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards.
- Implement quality control measures and address quality issues as they arise.
- PMP or similar certification
- Scrum, Six Sigma, Lean or similar certification
- Experience with directing a team of people through an enterprise-wide project from start to finish
- Knowledge in the skilled nursing sector of healthcare preferred
- Knowledge in use of project management tools, particularly Smartsheets
- Great communication skills
- Ability to resolve conflict between team members
- HR/Payroll knowledge a plus
- 3-5 years minimum of experience preferred
