What You’ll Do
You’ll be the go-to problem solver and team leader for all things maintenance, including:
- Overseeing property upkeep, building maintenance, and equipment functionality
- Managing service requests and preparing apartments for new residents
- Scheduling and performing preventative maintenance
- Supervising vendors and maintaining inventory
- Ensuring full compliance with OSHA standards and safety protocols
- Diagnosing and repairing HVAC, plumbing, and basic electrical issues
- Installing appliances and overseeing warranty fulfillment
- Maintaining logs and reports (OSHA, snow removal, maintenance, etc.)
- Supporting the Community Manager with team reviews and evaluations
- Participating in on-call rotations and responding to after-hours emergencies
- Leading snow removal efforts as needed
- Promoting a clean, safe, and welcoming community
We’re looking for someone who’s proactive, reliable, and ready to roll up their sleeves. You should have:
- A high school diploma or GED (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- At least 1–2 years of related experience in multi-family maintenance
- EPA Certification for HVAC
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification (or willingness to obtain within 6 months—company-paid)
- Solid knowledge of building systems, tools, and safety standards
- Great communication skills and a service-first attitude
- A polished, professional appearance and a strong work ethic
