Early Learning Ventures (ELV), a nonprofit organization, is focused on increasing access to high quality Early Care and Education (ECE) through a unique model of shared services that streamlines business functions and make managing a financially stable, high-quality business attainable. Working with a network of partners and through an online, cost-effective business platform, Early Learning Ventures is supporting providers to strengthen their businesses, save time and money, and, most importantly, offer quality care to more children. Through an Early Head Start-Child Care Partnerships (EHS-CCP) grant ELV and its collaborators are poised to deliver best-in-class, comprehensive early childhood services to eligible children in high-need, low-capacity communities in six counties across Colorado. ELV’s ability to maximize efficiency and effectiveness through their innovative shared services model will allow the service delivery team to leverage resources in support of infant and toddler development. This position reports directly to a Child Care Partnerships Manager. Responsibilities of the Child Care Partnership Coordinator Include :

  • Supervise, coach, mentor, and evaluate job performance of up to four direct reports utilizing professional development and training plans. Promote training that meets team and individual needs.
  • Lead county team members in work with one another : Child Care Partners, ELV Child Care Partnership Specialists, and the local community by promoting a consistent professional exchange of information in all directions. Facilitate cross-team work as needed.
  • Lead the local implementation of EHS service plans pertaining to early childhood development, health and safety practices, Family Services, Program Management, and Services for Children with Disabilities to guide daily work and meet children’s needs.
  • Deliver training on products and services to colleagues, Child Care program directors and staff in various formats, including individual training, instructor-led content, and webinars.
  • Lead the local implementation of a monitoring and reporting structure with Child Care Partners and ELV Child Care Partnership Specialists that ensures full compliance of the Head Start Program Performance Standards and meets the needs of enrolled families.
  • Leadership Development – Lead the local implementation of on-site technical assistance, coaching and supportive guidance to site leadership regarding continuous improvement processes, center operations and compliance with Head Start Program Performance Standards. Facilitate the continuous improvement process with assigned partners.
  • Professional Development - Lead the local implementation of a teacher and director professional development program to include coordination / delivery of teacher credentialing process, training and coaching, researched-based curriculum for infants and toddlers, ongoing authentic assessment practices, and classroom observations.
  • Family Engagement and Development - Lead the local collaboration with Child Care Partners to offer a comprehensive family engagement program aligned with HSPPS and the Parent, Family and Community Engagement Framework. Lead the local implementation of program processes relating to eligibility, recruitment selection, enrollment and attendance (ERSEA) system implementation in alignment with Head Start Program Performance Standards.
  • Community Development - Collaborate with the Child Care Partnership Leadership Team to develop, manage, and maintain a portfolio of MOU’s and / or contracts, with community service agencies that support early childhood workforce development and comprehensive services. Represent ELV positively and professionally in the local community by building relationships with other agencies including public school districts, systems of higher education, and other community agencies and partners.
  • Community Development – Lead the local implementation of comprehensive services, including the administration of and / or coordination of health screenings with community service providers.
  • Work with one to two assigned Child Care Partners to guide implementation of comprehensive EHS services, acting as liaison between ELV program management and designated CCP sites. Using the ELV Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Statement as the organizational lens of equity; work to embed the guiding principles of the Statement into practice within ELV's work. Other duties as assigned. Educational Requirements :
  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Social Welfare, Public Administration, human services or a related field required Qualifications :
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an early care and education environment
  • Proven ability to establish and strengthen community partnerships
  • Experience supervising a team of professionals
  • Experience working with children and families from diverse backgrounds
  • Demonstrated knowledge of theories and practices of Early Childhood Development
  • Proven leadership ability, including facilitating relationships with ECE programs and community partnerships and family engagement
  • Demonstrated knowledge of theories and practices of case management and community engagement
  • Demonstrated knowledge of theories and practices of continuous improvement, change management and / or practice-based coaching
  • Current Colorado Coaching Credential, or willingness to pursue the Credential and certification on other relevant coaching tools
  • Bilingual English / Spanish preferred Travel :
  • Local travel in county up to 50%
  • Travel out of County up to 10%
  • Valid Driver’s License Required
