Senior Director, Centene Account Management
The Senior Director, Centene Account Management provides strategic, financial, relationship, and organizational leadership for the Medicaid line of business within the Sales & Account Management Centene division. This role includes the development and execution of a comprehensive strategic plan to successfully lead a highly matrixed and extensively custom client relationship.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Account Management teams to ensure execution upon client growth plans and strategies for developing profitable business
- Work cross-functionally to ensure all operational and regulatory requirements are met or exceeded
- Improve Quality-related client goals will be paramount to success
- Employee management
- Cross-functional coordination of projects and initiatives
- Exceeding client expectations, budget and work-plan management
- Process improvement
Essential Functions:
- Partner in development and execution of strategic work plan goals
- Manage a diverse team of account executives and account managers
- Collaborate with management team to provide career development opportunities
- Partner with Sales & Account Management Operations
- Ensure close coordination with cross-functional areas
- Identify gaps and lead special projects and task forces
- Act as a consultant in ongoing client relationships
- Negotiate client contracts, amendments, and SOW's
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
- MBA, RPh/Pharm D and/or Master's degree preferred
- At least 10-15 years' work experience with at least 7-10 years of relevant experience in account management
- Extensive client management experience within the PBM or healthcare industry preferred; Medicaid experience highly preferred
