Competitive Intelligence Lead Analyst - Operations and Insights Our Team Cigna continues to make significant investments in enterprise resources to drive growth across its portfolio of businesses, and our Competitive Intelligence (CI) team is a key partner and stakeholder influencing this growth.

The Role : The Competitive Intelligence Lead Analyst will play a key role in managing our CI operations and resources, as well as contribute to research projects within the healthcare space.
A key component of the role will be the maintenance of the team's research repository, including establishment and communication of best practices for the repository.
Projects will include research on competitors' initiatives and monitoring the broader healthcare market.
Synthesizing business implications is a key component of the role. This role will report to a CI manager and will collaborate with the broader CI team and business stakeholders.
Research will continually be shared with business partners via formal presentations, engaging discussions, and research dashboard socialization.
Key skills for the role include project management, research, professional presence, and intellectual curiosity. Role Responsibilities Detail :
- Owns and proactively manages our CI research repository and best practices, including serving as a consultative partner to business partners
- Owns CI best practices documentation and implementation, including tracking team projects and metrics
- Leads vendor management and procurement to ensure best resources and tools are available to the team and are utilized appropriately
- Responds to ad-hoc CI research requests and contributes to competitive market monitoring initiatives
- Collaborates on special projects including FOIA analyses & sales team support processes
- Develop research content for publications and contribute to regular and ad hoc CI releases e.g., news alerts, newsletters, research and white papers, etc.
- Work closely with other enterprise Competitive Intelligence teams, collaborating and sharing best practices Ideal candidates will offer
- Bachelor's degree, with advanced degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 years professional experience in business / competitive intelligence, research, project management, or other similar areas.
Preference for experience in the healthcare space
Preference for experience with variety of CI and financial / insurance databases (e.g.
S&P, Competiscan, CBInsights, Pitchbook, Clarivate)
