The job profile for this position is Software Engineering Advisor which is a Band 4 Senior Contributor Career Track Role with Cigna-Evernorth Services, Inc. Responsibilities-
- Plan and manage information technology projects including monitoring ongoing performance of systems and developing updates and modifications that are required in accordance with business needs;
- Support legacy platform built in ColdFusion and support modernization efforts when possible;
- Collaborate with Information Systems and Business to evaluate user requests, clarify objectives and functional requirements for new or modified computer programs;
- Determine feasibility of new or modified computer programs, including time requirements, compatibility with current system and system capabilities;
- Oversee coding of new or modified computer programs into existing systems and test program effectiveness;
- Evaluate error messages, modify codes and troubleshoot programming problems;
- Provide production operation support including system setup and processing and data extraction, as well as off-hour technical support with on-call rotation;
- Collaborate with project team to formulate detailed program specifications using analysis and design methodology;
- Define and implement applications in a multi-platform distributed environment; and
- Provide assistance to team with issues needing technical expertise, including on-the-job training for new and existing team members.
