Key Responsibilities
- Drive data classification efforts in collaboration with business and application teams
- Facilitate impact analysis discussion to align masking strategies with operational needs.
- Design and implement data masking strategies for highly Sensitive/ Sensitive PII (Sensitive personally identifiable information) data using Delphix or equivalent tools
- Leverage AI to optimize masking strategies and automation
- Customize masking algorithms to maintain data integrity and usability for non-production environments.
- Create, debug, and optimize masking jobs and schedules
- Implement data virtualization as per application needs for efficient data masking
- Deploy and manage data masking and virtualization solutions on cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, etc)
- Monitor masking job execution to ensure performance, reliability and scalability. Use AI -driven monitoring tools.
- Identify and resolve issues in data masking workflows and processes. Provide ongoing support and maintenance.
- Partner with data stewards , application owners, and compliance teams to ensure alignment
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of data masking configurations, linage mapping and dependencies
Qualification
- 5 years of experience in data analysis, masking or governance
- Expertise in data masking tools and virtualization (Delphix preferred) and AI-based data discovery
- Strong understanding of data lineage, upstream/downstream data flows and impact analysis
- Proficiency in relational data bases, data warehouses or mainframe databases
- Experience with Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS etc)
- Excellent debugging, problem solving and communication skill.
