What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Assurance Inspector position at Cima Aviation?
The Quality Assurance Inspector is responsible for ensuring the airworthiness of the articles on which the repair station or any of its contractors perform maintenance or alterations. They will inspect each article upon which the repair station has performed maintenance or alterations before the article is approved to return to service
QA inspector must perform all scopes of inspections for articles being maintained by the Repair Station to include all tasks per work order requirements and fulfillment.
Qualifications:
- Airframe and Power plant license a plus
- Aviation experience required ( 2 years of QA experience)
- Must be thoroughly familiar with the applicable 14CFR 145 regulations and with the inspection methods, techniques, practices, aids, equipment, and tools used to determine the airworthiness of the article on which maintenance, preventive maintenance, or alterations are being performed
- Proficient in using the various types of inspection equipment and visual inspection aids appropriate for the article being inspected
- Understand, read, and write English
- Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal
- Computer literacy required, proficiency in Word, Excel, etc.
- Must be local
Must pass drug screening per FAA regulations and requirements.
